Life's little treats.........

This past weekend I went to Austin for the first time. I fell in love with it. It was as though that place was made for me. Beautiful.

Well, the reason I was there is because of the music festival - ACL. Again...why had I never gone to that before!?!?!?!? It was right up my alley. The weather was beautiful. It was so nice to be able to take it all in without worrying about what you looked like and who was where..... Just me, a map, a blanket, a little bit of cash and the company of my girlfriends. There were no worries. At all. Even if we all wanted to see different bands - we would determine a location and meet there after our shows ended.

I can't tell you whether I enjoyed the bands I saw by myself or the ones I got to sing along with my friends. They were equally relaxing, enjoyable, and just what I needed. It was the first time I had felt so grounded in a long time.
