Feelings I get in church............

Something I have noticed is that every time I go to church.....I get tears in my eyes. Sometimes I get tears in my eyes b/c it's so beautiful. Other times I get tears in my eyes b/c I know I have broken His heart, and it kills me. Man, there are so many things I need to fix and so many things I need to learn. The power of mercy and grace. Forgiveness. Peace. To be able to forgive freely, completely, and instantly. That's the Gift of Christ. To have peace...withholding from grudges, grief, and guilt. That's the Gift of Christ. Sacrifice. That is a word that means so very much. Sacrifice is meant to feel good. To give something up for a greater good. In every relationship you will ever have in your life.....to sacrifice is truly powerful. Whether it's the relationship you have with God, a best friend, your mother, father, your husband, your wife, if you can't learn to sacrifice then your relationship is not even close to how good it really can be. Also, to sacrifice....isn't to complain and sulk....about giving something up. Sacrifice is being proud and honored and willing to give!!! Giving. In this world there are a lot of givers and there are a lot of takers. We need to be balanced, to be able to give and to receive. The gift of giving. It feels good.
